Bush gears up for his "Do You Know What It Means to Miss New Orleans" Tour. Senator George "Macaca" Allen now trails his Democratic opponent James Webb in the latest Zogby poll. And speaking of her upcoming anchor roll on CBS Evening News, Katie Couric wants her "product to have as much reach as it can." (Why does this "product" sound defective before we even get it out of the box?)
It's Sunday; laugh a little with Tom Tomorrow's latest toon:

I'm actually not even sure what Katie Couric meant by this comment, though, presumably, she is referring to her news broadcasts as "the product." I suppose that indicates she wants high ratings. What a shocker!

Katie will not do well. She has no personality of her own. At media events she is protected/censored by TWO PR handlers. She will read what they feed her.
You know who they need back? Dan Rather! Yeah that's the ticket! I heard he's available, and cheap! I could forward you his number.
