Just read this today....my condolences.

Thanks. I appreciate it. She would've been 98 next month. But her body could no longer keep up with her spirit. It was time to go. She was my friend as well as my grandmother, and the only grandmother I ever knew (my father's mother died when I was 6 months old). She gave the kind of unconditional love that the best grandparents do. And she, like my grandfather who did the same, will always be in my thoughts.
